• First service projects are complex and challenging projects that require several years to complete. Typically, first service projects are broken into smaller projects that are phased over time. Each project follows the timeline shown below.

• Currently, the project is finishing Concept Design/Planning and moving into Design of the project.

Future Projects

Wastewater Treatment

This phase of the project will construct a wastewater treatment facility that will be located near the old airport. The wastewater treatment facility will clean the wastewater before discharging it safely back into the environment.

Water Source, Storage, & Treatment

This phase of the project will develop a well house over the new community well and build a new raw water transmission line from the well house to the new central sanitation facility.

This phase of the project will construct a new central sanitation facility for water treatment and water distribution equipment. Additionally, new water storage tanks will be collocated next to the combined sanitation facility similar to the one seen in the photo above.

Water Distribution & Sewage Collection Systems

This phase of the project will construct the water distribution and sewer collection systems, water and sewer services for Old Town, the Lower Hillside and the Upper Hillside. Additionally, in-home improvements will be completed to provide a bathroom and kitchen in each home.
